You're using an old link! - Thankfully, you no longer need to specify a nonstandard port (8080) to access my site. You could've used the more standard: http://pbrisbin.com/pages/about_rss.html.
Info regarding my recent addition to the site, this very RSS feed!

In taking the advice of a much wiser Arch user, I've decided to add an RSS feed to the site. I was really trying to avoid the hole 'blog' situation. I just posted snippets as I felt like it in hopes that some lonely googler out there might happen upon my site, and that it might help them solve an issue.
Since its inception, this little site has gotten a bit of traffic, mainly from my Arch community. I've noticed a few users actually find it interesting enough to check back for new posts.
For this reason, I think an RSS would be useful. I don't update my site or add content often, so being able to put a feed in your reader and have it just pop up whenever I get my lazy ass around to add content seems a good way to do it. So, feel free to add this to your feed reader: http://pbrisbin.com/pages/rssfeed.rss.
As with most things, I'm using a cronned bash script to update the feed based on the content of my /srv/http/pages directory at any given time. I'm still ironing out the kinks so if you actually do subscribe, don't expect it to be smooth. The more I use it however, the more self-sufficient it'll get.
Thanks to anyone reading this :)
